Kudos Delivers the goods at Bakers’ Hall
We are very proud to announce some great news! With some hard work from our amazing team and a successful tasting event, we are now the approved caterers for Bakers’ Hall. Our managing director Eva Garrett recently met with the Beadle (Neil Fletcher) and the acting Clerk (Alan Willis) to show off some of our delicious creations. She presented them with our ‘Luxe Lunch’, ‘Legend of the Afternoon Tea’ and a selection of hot buffet foods.
The menus consisted of vegetarian, meat and fish gourmet sandwiches, fruit scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream and a selection of afternoon fancies. For our hot buffet we pulled out all the stops and created a selection of artisan breads (which went down a treat) and two sets of pies; one meat and the other vegetarian – containing roasted vegetables sourced from local businesses.
We didn’t stop there however… we had to bring out the big guns when it came to baking as the one and only Mary Berry was inducted as a Liveryman by the company! So we created a mouth-watering array of homemade cakes and bakes including:
- Homemade scones with strawberry jam & cream
- Chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting
- Sponge cupcakes with vanilla frosting
- Lemon drizzle cake
- Chocolate & walnut brownies
- Bakewell slices
- Chocolate cups filled with orange & passion fruit jelly.
Bakers’ Hall thoroughly enjoyed our food and we are delighted to have the opportunity to work with one of London’s oldest livery companies in Bakers Hall as one of their preferred caterers, as they truly are experts in the trade. They have a rich history which can be traced back over 800 years to Henry II; making them the second oldest Guild in London! With years of tradition in baking, the company works in association with the National Bakery School, awarding the top student the ‘Freedom of the Worshipful Company of Bakers, which is a highly prestigious award.
Bakers’ Hall is situated 200m from the Tower of London, making it a perfect central location to host a variety of events, which we are very proud to cater for. With three stunning and historically rich event spaces to use, including The Main Hall, The Court Room and The Charter Gallery, there will always be the perfect space to host your conference, wedding reception or event of your choice!
